Over time, all removable appliances experience wear and deformation through normal use. RetainX™ can be refreshed by placing the appliance in hot water between 60°C and 100°C, allowing the material to gently recover and enhance its fit.
Simple Rejuvenation Process
This simple process helps maintain performance, comfort, and retention effectiveness throughout the life of the appliance.
To maximise the effectiveness of RetainX™, patients should:
✔ Wear for at least 12 hours per day (or as prescribed)
✔ Remove for eating and drinking (except water)
✔ Clean daily using retainer cleaning tablets
✔ Store safely in the protective case
✔ Rejuvenate regularly using the Thermal Memory process
